There have appeared numerous announcements throughout the Internet, which prove the fact that college football in the USA is moving in the wrong direction in the moral understanding of this expression. Miami, Ohio North Carolina scandals are vivid examples of the given statement.

The most much-talked-of is the Miami incident with the football players. It consists in the fact that the latter obtained improper and indecent gifts from Nevin Shapiro, the Miami businessman, who supported football players from the Miami University for over eight years. These gifts were nothing else than adult entertainments with the escorts, jewelries and the free of charge utilization of a boat, intended for parties and festive occasions.

For the time being Nevin Shapiro endures the punishment in the federal prison. He is sentenced for 20 years with the accusation of a fraud. It is known that he tried to ask school administration for help, but all his attempts were declined at once.

The main problem is left unsolved – there are too many analogical cases, which are left without appropriate punishment. This happens because the guilty coaches manage to leave the schools before the ending of the investigation process. The same thing can be said about the students-athletes, who move to other teams and escape punishment as well. So, more severe measures are to taken in order to establish proper supervision over football teams.
